Founded by Thomas and Ernest Carrick, Fabritec Steel is a steel fabrication company specialising in the design, manufacture and erection of steelwork into the agricultural, industrial and residential sectors.  Having worked for over a decade in the steel fabrication industry, Thomas and Ernest established a family business in 2010 focussing predominantly on structural steelwork.  As the business has developed, it now focuses on three key sectors.

With an in-house 3D design team and an extensive fabrication capability, Fabritec Steel provides an all-encompassing service from planning and design right through to manufacturing and erection.  Our attention to detail in providing this cradle to grave package ensures that quality is the object of our work.

To provide the ultimate solution we see all services working together in unison, so the focus of our committed team is to provide a flexible service from design right through to production.

Thomas Carrick/

Having qualified from Queen’s University Belfast with a Masters in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, Thomas has since gained Chartered Engineering status. With extensive experience in 3D design, manufacturing techniques and process control, Thomas now manages the 3D design at Fabritec Steel.

Ernest Carrick/

Coming from an agricultural background Ernest has an intrinsic knowledge of this key sector. Since making the transition into steel fabrication in 2002, Ernest has provided a wide range of structural steelwork both nationally and internationally and he now manages the production and sitework at Fabritec Steel.
